Faith Hope Love Riding Academy has been teaching riders of all ages, abilities and skill levels for years. We specialize in dressage and jumping as well as good riding fundamentals and basic horsemanship. Riders of all ages get to learn in a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere and learn at their own pace. We welcome riders with their own horses and also have wonderful lesson horses that we match to the riders age and skill level. Call to set up your first lesson today. Shirley Svendsen
Owner/Head Trainer
Shirley has been training horses for more than fifty years and has schooled all Grand Prix movements in Dressage and has competed through Intermediare 1. She has trained many riders and horses over the years and truly loves the horses and riders she works with.
Barb Nelson
Jumping Coach/Camp Instructor
Barb has been jumping horses and teaching riders to jump for years. Barb spent years competing in eventing. Barb is a wonderful jumping instructor who is patient with her students and gives lots of encouragement to both horse and rider. Barb comes up with many fun courses for jumping lessons and the camps. She makes sure she adjusts the height of the jumps for each horse and rider so that jumping is a safe, positive experience for everyone.
We have been riding at Faith Hope Love Riding Academy for over five years and enjoy taking lessons together. It’s so nice to come out to the horses at the end of the day.
